winter
I'm 21, and i'm going to insure a 2013 nissan altima, I was wondering what number im looking at going in, i got my license at 16 and no tickets or violations. Link to comment
Otis
Since you'll have a 25% discount with a clean 5 year record.. I'm guessing somewhere around 180 or 190 /month if you're getting basic insurance (to and from work) give or take a bit. Could be totally off but this is my understanding Link to comment
Drive-By Body Pierce
Why don't you call up your local insurance agent and ask? Link to comment
Brendan Gaunce
best to just call, they will give you an exact $ Link to comment
HerrDrFunk
Depends, are you planning on using it to commute to work? I have about the same history driving history as you and pay $167 a month because I don't drive to my job. There are a bunch of different variables though. You could end up paying more or less. CanuckBoss
Lol there are so many variables with this question 300 comprehensive? 300 collision? 1 or 2 maybe 5 million liability? You are prob looking at roughly 240 a month on auto plan 12 Link to comment

-AJ-
Easy to go to a bank/insurance agency and get them to tell you. You'll get the five-year discount. My guess is that newer cars also cost more to insure, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Link to comment

Grapefruits
There's no 5 year discount. There's a 10 year discount though Pretty sure they mean they'll get 25%, or 5% for every year. The discount scale is such a crock nowadays. Years ago it was 10% a year. Every claim dropped you 40%. Now you can only gain 5% a year and depending where you are on the scale you can pay out the ass for an accident. As for the original question. Call a broker, they'll tell you the exact price. LaBamba
When I was 19 I bought a brand new fully loaded Toyota Tundra in Grande Prairie Alberta. I had a DWI and a few speeding tickets. My insurance was $11,800 a year when I finally found a company that would do it for under $1,000 a month. Lesson learned. Link to comment

Baer.
I live in Victoria and you can get to literally any part of town for $2.50 by bus. I spend <$100 a month on transit. Driving a car is like flushing money down the toilet. Link to comment
