cuporbust
Anyone who has whatched this years memorial cup would know how much of a staple Cole Cassels has been. He has obviously made huge strides since we drafted him in the third round in 2013 and has been the main subject in most anyalists commentary each game. He has been the number one shutdown forward in the tournament hands down. His offensive playmaking ability and his defensive skills have pumped his value up way past a thrird round pick IMO Credited with the game winning assist after being injured on a shot block in last game against Quebec , he is also on an 8 game point streak, and tied for second overall in memorial cup scoring . He has also been credited in shutting down the likes of Conner mcdavid and leon draisaitl. So far tonight against kelowna he has opened scorring as well Having said that, where do u think he would go now ?
Watermelons
Anyine who has whatched this yeas memorial cup would know how much of a staple Cole Cassels has been. He has been the number one shutdown forward in the tournament hands down. His offensive playmaking ability and his defensive skills have pumped his value up way past a throw round pick. Credited with the game winning assist after being injured on a shot block in last game against Quebec , he is also on an 8 game pint streak and tied for second overall in memorial cup scoring , and also credited in shutting down the likes of Conner mcdavid , and so far tonight ( opening scorring ) shutting down lion drysidle. Having said that, where do u think he would go now ? LOL I wish we had more "throw" round picks and "lion drysidle" on our team In all seriousness, Cassels would be 2 years older than the rest of the draft class so he'd probably go in the mid to late first round. Zfetch
He'd be an overager. Late first round like Tanner Pearson.

Watermelons
lol. Ya I usually post first edit later Haha. No worries. Just teasing I'm super happy about the way Cassels has developed over the last two years. Gillis drafted us a pretty good player.
Zuongo
Don't wanna take anything away from him, but he is 20 yeah? Quite old, mature body wise compared to some of these other kiddies

-Vintage Canuck-
25-35. Somewhere in there.
coryberg
If he was 17 years old and playing like he is now? top 10. As an over age player? 23rd overall.
tyhee
.... Having said that, where do u think he would go now ? Just before that guy he outpointed while being matched against in the OHL finals. More serious answer-I agree with Vintage Canuck. Probably in the range of 25-35 or thereabouts. That of course doesn't fit the poll.
Ghostsof1915
Can't we just be happy we snagged him in the 3rd round? Great steal.

BanTSN
Why is this question relevant? He's a lot different from his draft age. This is what happens with most prospects.
Quoted
Why is this question relevant? He's a lot different from his draft age. This is what happens with most prospects. A couple of years makes such a big difference at that age (and not always for the better!).
cuporbust
Why is this question relevant? He's a lot different from his draft age. This is what happens with most prospects. Is a canucks message board. What I always find hilarious is no matter what the thread , someone wastes a post whining about it, but takes the time to post the same useless comment in usually multiple threads. Look at most threads around here and you will almost always find an idiotic post like yours no matter what the subject. Then it's the ever popular grammar police posts. Here is a hint , all these threads are relatively pointless. It's a place to waste time and talk about whatever. U don't like the subject , feel free to post elsewhere
