i believe benning doesn't sign richardson and matthias.....moves lack or markstrom....he may move higgins and kassian...and one of bieksa or hamhuis...i see possibly baerschi and grenier, corrado and clendening making the team...a bieksa/hamhuis move has to free up some cap space to sign the rest of their players...

a planned rebuild, done over 2 or 3 years...

benning said they could have 5 new players on the team next year...markstrom, baerschi, grenier, clendening and corrado...they are going with 12 forwards and 8 defensemen next year..

sedin/sedin/burrows/

baerschi.?/bonino/vrbata

hansen/horvat/dorsett/

kenins/vey/grenier/

edler/tanev/

hamhuis clendening/

sbisa/corrado/

new player/weber/

a d-man back in the trades...?...a couple of draft picks and a prospect.

Most seem reasonable. Doubt CBJ would go for it though. They have a better goalie in Bobrovsky. I'd do the others though.

The CBJ trade is to give them a good backup. They absolutely fell apart last year when Bob went down. If they have Lack and last season repeats itself, they still make the playoffs.

I agree. There are only so many players he can move that have value, a lot of us are quick to trade some of our key pieces but this is not a full on tankathon like Buffalo. We move a few pieces here and there, add some draft picks and keep with our 2-3 year plan.

That's a good tank lineup, soft as fluff.

I see a lot of threads trying to gain draft picks and prospects with, "the future," in mind. If the thought is for 4-5 yrs down the road, might as well throw the Sedin name out there too. They may love Vancouver, but sooner or later, winning a cup will become important to them.

I'm sure, with discussion with TL and JB, both Henrick and Danial will see the benefits in a move. They would still bring a solid return from a team with a "now" attitude.
