I know its not perfect so please give some helpful tips, also this is with the current prospect pool this might very well change in the future (feel free to add your own line up suggestions)

1. Baertschi-McCann-Virtanen

2. Shinkaruk-Horvat-Boeser

3. Kenins-Cassels-Vey

4. Blomstrand-Gaunce-Grenier

Clendening-Corrado

Subban-Brisebois

Stewart/Tryamkin-Pedan

Markstrom

Demko (should be challenging for #1 goalie)

If Demko is not starter in eight years then something has gone horribly wrong.

So where are the 2016, 2017 & 2018 draft picks? If you can't include them this tuns out to be another stupid post as you would expect some of them on the roster.

Honestly, I think there will be so much turnover that the vast majority of the lineup is made of people not in the system or even drafted by the Canucks as of now.

Hodgson was going to be the future, then Kassian, now both shipped out.

The only people I would say for sure will be there, and that's if things go right in their development, are Horvat and Demko.

So far, I've seen nothing to suggest that Baertschi won't go the way of Kassian. Hope it works out and he ends up being a steal for Benning in that trade, but he hasn't yet done anything he didn't do in Calgary's system.

Not saying he won't , but nothing would have to exactly go "horribly wrong ". If u listen to most hockey guys talk about goaltenders , its more common for a guy at his age to under achieve then to do the opposite in the goaltender position.

I would say it would be 60 40 he ends up as good as we hope

Out of 20 skaters listed ..I would be very surprised if even 5 of the 20 remain in 8 years..
