Top 5 WWE

Recommended Posts

1. Hogan (Wrestling wouldn't be where it is today without him)

2. Stone Cold (Got to beat up his boss and got paid to do it)

3. HHH (Managed to worm his way into the family and knock up Vince's daughter)

4. Undertaker (Longevity and ability to stay relevant)

5. Mick Foley (Underrated for the most part and wasn't afraid to do anything for the business)

In reality that list could be rewritten with multiple wrestlers. Right now thats what I came up with though.

1. Hogan - when Hogan was in his prime wrestling was on Primetime network television. The Saturday night main event was on before Saturday night live on NBC for Christ sake, wrestling will never be there again.

2.Cena - the modern day hogan, extremely loyal.

3.Undertaker - wrestle mania

4.Hart - the most skilled and underrated wrestler of all time, with Mr Perfect a close 2nd.

5.Andre the Giant. - not the giant of wrestle mania 3 the giant that was almost as big as hogan prior to his emergence.

HHH - wasn't overly talented, wasn't overly popular, wasn't a good actor.

Stone cold, career cut too short.

Rock, career too short.

Ultimate Warrior career too short.

Foley, loved him but in a class of his own, also didn't have a very long career

I'd say 6 would be

Macho man, Norton, HBK.

Cena really doesn't get enough credit for what he does for WWE. He's a workhorse and does a tonne for make a wish. Hart was probably the best technical wrestler and without Stu and the dungeon Canadian wrestlers likely wouldn't have been able to break in like they have. If that makes sense.

Flair and Sting were more NWA/WCW solid all time list though.

Just wish people would give Bret Hart more credit, especially more then HBK.

Shoot for some reason I missed the WWE part

1. Austin

2. Hogan

3. Michaels

4. The Rock

5. The Undertaker

I excluded Bret Hart because I only wanted to put one guy from that pre-attitude/post-steroid/little-but-talented guys era. Bret Hart was better in the ring, but Michaels cut a better promo. Bonus points for the long-lasting influence of the clique.

Cena is one of the greats. Hogan is probably the only one that is more/as important to his respective era. His era also comprises a very large chunk of WWE history.

But, I don't think the Cena era is great enough to warrant a spot in the top 5.

Of All Time;

Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, The Rock, John Cena

Trish Stratus, Lita, Fabulous Moolah, Bull Nakano, Alundra Blayze

Of Today's Era That Are Signed***

Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor

Charlotte, Paige, Bayley, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella

***(Punk and Bryan I'm not counting, Bryan I'm not sure if we'll get to see him in anymore WWE Matches, and Punk is "Technically" gone, even though I'm of the belief that he will one day be back, I'm considering them both "inactive" xP )
