The tournament will feature a number of notable NHL prospects from the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets. Cole Cassels, who helped lead the Oshawa Generals to a Memorial Cup Championship this past season, will attend the event alongside defence prospects, Ben Hutton and Jordan Subban. 2015 Entry Draft selections Guillaume Brisebois (66th overall) and Dmitry Zhukenov (114th overall) will also make their Young Stars tournament debut. I'm excited to watch our young players this year, assuming the games are broadcast on CDC again. Hopefully injuries won't prevent some of our prospects from being able to attend like last year (Virtanen, Cassels, McCann). Looking forward to it. I expect that the Canucks will bring back a few guys they had from prospects camp in July like Justin Lemke, Reid Gardiner and Jackson Whistle as they are all CHL property..
