VICTORY HOCKEY LEAGUE THE INTERNET'S LONGEST RUNNING SIM LEAGUE

The Victory Hockey League (VHL) is a player simulation league where you are able to create a unique player of your own and compete with/against other members of the VHL (100% human). Creating a player is as easy as filling out a template, which takes you about two minutes (maybe up to five minutes if you have difficulty deciding on a player name, country, or position). After you post your player's template to our forum, you have a full career experience including drafts, minor leagues, trades, and free agency.

Quick Facts about the VHL: We have been running for 45 seasons, or over 8 real years All players in the league are members who have created players. There are no CPU's. There are 10 teams in the league, 6 playoff teams. We have unique logos for each team, designed by our members. We have seen over 100 players created over the past two seasons, and already have 25 signed up for next season's draft. If you spend a small amount of time on your point tasks, your player will have a very successful career.

Join the Victory Hockey League today to get your career started!

I fully endorse this league. I went there from this forum awhile ago, and I have been there as a highly active member ever since.

It's a great league with a great atmosphere. You're sure to have some fun and get competitive.

There is a small learning curve, as with any sim league, but you'll get into it.

Clicked on two different threads there and it's just swearing and gifs. I like the idea but I don't think that forum is for me. I was also surprised to see a donation aspect, I had no idea running a site cost so much! I did like the HOF write ups though, very classy.

The swearing we can't help, it's a forum with anywhere from 14-35 year old (mostly males), that happens on a ton of forums. .gifs shouldn't alarm anyone though, those are common. Which threads were they?

The Donation thing is set up to advertise, afford the chat system we installed for quick responses to anyone. That donations thing is set up, but no one has to donate to it, especially if you are new and not into the whole community. Us veteran members donate because we've been with the league for about 45 seasons now.

Yeah, the donation thing isn't a thing that anybody has to do. The fact that so many people donated, including myself, shows how great the site is. I've donated multiple times just to get the benefits of player growth.

And yeah, you get little threads on forums where there's swearing and GIFs, but it's the exact same thing here. You don't have to go to those threads, and I never really do. It's a forum, that's what happens.

How much time a day would I be expected to put in?

Not too much. You can check out the games that have been played each day if you want, and post around in your team's locker room. Those are more optional.

It's mostly a per week thing, not day. If you wish, you just make sure to get your points per week. However much that is is really up to you. If you want the max though, you should write an article about your player about 450 words or more, or do a graphic on Photoshop. Then a more brief one called VHL.com Article which is around 200 words, so that could just be anything league related.

There's other jobs you can do around the league that will get you extra points for your player as well. Like you can be a guy who grades articles that people write, or the graphics.

There's also the option to do podcasts for points as well.

When I first started I wasn't down to be on there every day, but now I am.
