The Dow unlike the S&P and Nasdaq is a price weighted index. The higher price one component has, the more sway it has on the index. You currently have 7 components with a price below $50 that have little sway compared to AAPL at $400+. EPS miss by 7X? Amazon is pretty tight with their info. You get what they choose to give you. Yep, I got my own personal play in it as well as me and few friends have started a side business involved in mining it. My personal play, i'm in it for the long, buying small orders of Satoshi each day. It wouldn't surprise me to see the price up to 100k in a few years. For these companies to do this right one of them will need to partner with Loral, they're a giant in the space and are prime for a merger/buyout. Beside the chance of a merger/buyout from Apple or Amazon the chart is primed for a run. All cash, no debt. Very Very Very low float... General public owner barely any shares, 1.6M.. When news comes this thing skyrockets.. Their last SEC filing was in May for the quarterly numbers and check one of the last lines... Last but not least.. Why no PR's ?!?1 They usually release 2-3 PR's a month but had NOTHING in June and July.. Hmmm.. Something brewing ?? Apple ? Amazon ? This is the kind of AA I want to be apart of.. When he worked for Spar he laughed at SpaceX as a crass American attempt at the pure science of space exploration. Now his satelites are launched on SpaceX rockets. The Obama admin preemptively used the EPA to prevent the mine.... even before the US engineering corp had the chance to even analyze the project, which shouldn't have been done. Took a long time for NDM to reverse via the courts (I believe the guy who signed off immediately "retired" and just left the country too). Trump being elected helped boosted price... but there was also a coordinated short campaign done as well which tanked prices. After just waiting for the past few years... the US engineering corp finally gave their report and it's sort of a greenlight. Still a PR battle happening.... a powerful lobby group is against it. The funding of the lobby group... very "interesting". North Dynasty is still an "exploration" and "development" company... so high risks, high reward. Could easily be worth $0.... or $30 per share. IMHO the real strength in gold is a monetary one as people are losing faith in government monetary policy. When real panic sets in I can see +$5000. It won't matter who is POTUS on Nov.4th. Trudeau is an absolute joke. Canadian debt in aggregate is worse than most. The EU is a painted pig. Japan is in its own debt world. Nope no savior out there. Biggest winners Shopify up 150% and my largest holding. Square up 110% and my third largest. Well health up 150% Nikola sold my initial investment over 100%, still sitting on house money at 25%. Biggest losers Scotiabank down 24% BMO down 30% BAM.A down 46% Remark down 50% Gnus down 60%. Last 2 I'm just gonna hold till they get back up... Eventually? It's a gold miners ETF. Big difference. I wonder why they'd be flipping a gold miners ETF? That's kind of an odd thing to do especially considering it does not offer any leverage. Why not just trade gold directly? It's way more liquid and trades 24/5. Rather than an ETF that trades 6.5 hours a day and just gaps everyday.
