nucklehead
Today CBC radio said the Saudi's have taken in over 100k Syrian refugee's. Meanwhile Germany will take in 800,000. What's wrong with this picture?
taxi
Meanwhile Germany will take in 800,000. What's wrong with this picture? Germany will not take 800k. They are expected to receive 800k applications. Big difference. Also Saudi Arabia claims to have taken in 2.5 million already. They've given residency permits to about 100k. inane
It's at a grand mosque in Mecca during a holy Muslim pilgrimage. How many non Muslims would anyone expect to be there? You gave validity to a worthless pos post. aww mr. passive aggressive
TheFirstLine
One would think that if there was anywhere in the world where Allah would have your back it would be at Mecca. That's a instant path to heaven for the people that died. They would rather die in Mecca on a pilgrimage then anywhere else in the world im sure of that. taxi
It's more like 2.5 million since the start of the crisis. In my other post I clarified it. They've taken in 2.5 million and given residency to 100k. Residency allows access to jobs and schools. Saudi Arabia is putting a fair amount of resources into this.... Just not as many as they put into training the militants that created the problem.
RUPERTKBD
The dead are probably visitors there for religious reasons. Even if there not why do random citizens deserve to die for the actions of the government? Exactly. It's no different than saying 9/11 was karma for the actions of the US government. drummer4now
Yes but... 3000 plus deaths and countless injured from 9/11 vs. 87 people dead. Somehow I don't see the victims of 9/11 celebrating. Then you have over 1 million + dead in the war on terror and countless lives ruined vs. 3000 plus deaths and countless injured.. Somehow I don't see muslims celebrating this.. Long story short I wouldn't make much of this..
