Fateless
My cynical side feels that because Arizona is winless so far in the pre-season that the Canucks will lose 4-0 tonight. My homer side says we win 4-1.

stawns
Really hope to see Virtanen with the Sedins. Virt is the wrong kind of player to play with the twins. The experimenting should be mostly over, put Burr up there and ;let them get their game going.

If he can't play with the Sedins, and Vrbata is already 2RW, where does he fit in. Unlike Horvat he can't start on the fourth and hope he moves on, his defensive IQ is pretty far from Horvat as a rookie. It's either top 6 or junior for him IMO. It's not great, but it is good enough to play the 3rd or 4th with good defensive guys. He is fast as hell and hits a lot. Why can't that be good on the 3rd? The good thing about Jake is he can fit in on damn near any line. It isn't top 6 or bust.

70seven
out of that, id think... Sedin - Sedin - Virtanen Baertschi - Sutter - Vrbata Burrows - McCann - Vey Kennins - Cracknell - Grenier Hamhuis - Weber Sbisa - Corrado Fedun - Hutton Markstrom
Mathew Barzal
LOL. Management really wants that preseason W. Don't think Virtanen will mesh with the Sedin's, I'd be interested in some combination of Horvat/McCann/Baertschi/Vrbata.

The Weasel
Virt is the wrong kind of player to play with the twins. The experimenting should be mostly over, put Burr up there and ;let them get their game going. Agreed. I don't think he is someone suited to a cycle game, but hopefully he can surprise me. It should be interesting to see him play with the Sedins. They should be able to set him up for some good looks.
