Deadline aquisition Antoinne Vermette has scored some huge goals, and rejuvinated the 3rd line. Hjalmarsson and Pokka were assigned as the 1st pairing by GM Canuck Surfer, and have played solid thus far. The big story is Petr Mrazek, who didn't have the greatest season, but we all know his pedigree and upside, and will win the Conn Smythe if his team can win this series. Islanders: The New York Islanders as usual are lead by Seguin, Turris and Palat, although Ondrej Palat has dropped the ball offensively, and the slack was picked up by Joe Thornton. Bottom pairing has chipped in with 10pts, one of Islanders biggest strengths. Lance Bouma has matched his regular season totals already in the playoffs, proving himself as a playoff performer. Elias Lindholm is injured at the moment, and will likely not play in the finals. John Gibson has played really well, finally developing into the goaltender GM Caboose had envisioned him.
