Noseforthenet
So I was thinking about it and 3 on 3 will be ruled by those players with a ton of speed. The more I think about it, we may see ALOT of OT games lost this year because the Sedins aren't fast enough to chase down anybody. Especially with that much open ice. If guys like Gaudreau, Toews, Eichel, Hall, and the like have that much open ice, they're gone. Thoughts, ideas. All welcome.

NuckleheadFan
No but the twins can pass and possess the puck better than anyone.
Nino
No but the twins can pass and possess the puck better than anyone. The pass is quicker then anyone in the game, that's why they dominate when they have possession.
Outsiders
Just play Hutton over Edler and all will be fine

Mathew Barzal
If you actually watched todays OT both teams did a very good job of NOT committing to an offensive and instead made sure they kept two players high to handle counter rushes. The Sedin's will thrive.
CanuckGAME
Every time the Sedins have played 3 on 3 they have been in the offensive zone for basically their full shift. My concern is Willie playing them enough in OT. He should be playing them, resting them for a shift and throwing them right back out there. Alternate the twins with Edler, and then Bo & Vrby with Hutton.
Phil_314
The Twins are very intentional when it comes to setting things up and putting pucks on net without giving up chances. What's more, if speedsters do come on I'd feel confident with any two of Horvat/ McCann/ Sutter/ Hansen and one of Hutton/ Tanev/ Bartkowski (who's actually pretty mobile out there). With guys with those skill-sets (two-way with speed and ability to counter-punch offensively) we'd have a good chance.
Bo.Horvat53
Huh? They've shown they can dominate 3 on 3, not sure what you are watching/seeing. OT can go both ways, its a toss up. Tonight we lost, doesnt mean we'll always lose.

Adamth
Wouldnt hurt to have 2 lines 3 on 3 - Sedins w horvat or Horvat - Hansen and Dorsett / Jake
-AJ-
I thought the same, but they've been pretty dominant in the bits we've seen so far. As long as they can control the puck, they'll dominate. They'll get in trouble when/if they lose the puck.
Z Hockey
Sedin's had a cycle fest going before Gaudreau scored. If it gets slow and risky, Virtanen, Baertschi, McCann, Sutter, Hutton, Tanev, Y. Weber, Bartkowski or even Sbisa who's got quick feet can go out.
TheHitman
If this was 5-6 years ago, Sedins-Ehrhoff would've been fun to watch.
