What some Target shoppers thought was a Halloween prank turned out to be sounds from an apparent X-rated audio track being played over the store's public address system.

Chris Minor told CNN affiliate KPIX that he captured the moans and groans from the apparent porn audio on cellphone video Wednesday at a Target in San Jose, California.

"I thought it may have been Halloween related, maybe an employee playing games, but this was rated-X material, which made me feel very uncomfortable," Minor said.

His video shows baffled shoppers -- including mothers with babies -- with one woman saying "that's terrible."

"I felt violated, and my body said wait a minute, this ain't right. So I was uneasy," said Minor.

Minor told the affiliate that the Westgate Mall store apologized over the PA system, but then the sounds started up again.

KPIX received a statement from Target saying they are "actively reviewing the situation with the team to better understand what happened, and to help ensure this doesn't happen again."

"I felt violated."

xD some people really have paper thin skin.

I have a friend though who has speakers around his house (including the bathroom) and when his fiance was in the shower he pulled up porn on his phone or tablet and forgot he had the sound linked to the house speakers xD

Did he at least say "IT'S A PRANK BRO!" when he got caught?

Must've been a prank by a team member

According to the BBC article I was reading, there is a flaw in their intercom system. If you phone their hotline and request line xxxx (omitted from the story....), you will be connected directly to the intercom. Hilarity ensues with whatever the caller decides, and the onsite staff have no way of stopping it.

Well if some babies manage to hear porn on an intercom, it will ruin their lives forever - it's a proven fact.

Pretty sure moaning and groaning causes PTSD these days.

Probably not as awkward and scarring as if when they're older they walked in on their parents doing the deed

When I was a first year student one of my buddies had a set of bluetooth speakers in his room that you could connect to and control remotely.

Probably don't have to finish writing out this post for you guys to know where this is going.
