I was just surprised that their expensive gear was still douchebag gear. But since hipster is now mainstream who knows where the line gets drawn anymore..... Its still funny that if you had gone back and told any of these guys theyd be wearing this stuff in 5 years they would have laughed at you. Any clothes that are ugly with huge brand labels across from them that people wear for no other reason than they are an expensive status symbol. A lot of expensive clothes are nice. They have better cuts, better materials, and last longer. Some of them are just the same crap from factories in China with labels strewn across them. But thats not what I said, I said calling someone a douche just for wearing expensive clothes is massively douchy. If some clown is wearing a shirt with a gigantic shiny gold GUCCI on it they are a douche, I totally agree. Honestly, I think having brand labels showing in any significant way is really tacky. Unless its like a tiny, tiny crest on the breast or something like that. The funniest thing is when people do it with overpriced low quality garbage like Armani Exchange etc, that are no better than like Gap quality yet they still have labels/logos all over the shirt and just look both tacky and dumb.
