vladimirpuck
The team seems to be playing well but they just haven't been winning. What's wrong? Is it the young guys are still trying to adjust? Is it because of Vrbata, Horvat, Willie? Or is there nothing wrong and it's just been bad bounces? Any thoughts?
BanTSN
How about nothing?Look at the standings.Anaheim is the team that should be looking in the mirror right now. Only six goals-for so far. Six.

FallenCR7A
Quite a few teams predicted to do well have had slow starts, so the Canucks have some leeway in that regards. They need to stop sitting on leads and need more concentration during overtimes (their position on the ice, potential breakaways for the other team, etc). Also need to find a way to score on all the chances we keep getting. Maybe they're keeping with Canucks tradition and turn their season up notch after the Christmas break. DarthMelvin
When the Sedin line continues to be your goto line in OT and also 1:30 on the PP its goes to show that we are not giving those coming up a chance to shine
Zerox
They ain't skating in the 3rd period that's why.Every time they play like this, they get burned.

bigbadcanucks
What's wrong with the team? I'll give you four reasons:(1) Winning teams cash in on the chances they get. The Sedins can't close out a shift with a goal when it's needed if their lives depended on it right now. Give them the Corsi Cup 'coz that's the only hardware they are ever going to win at this point in their careers.(2) Leadership core shows up for 2 periods a game (if the team is lucky). Team isn't capable of playing a full 60 minutes. That's on the leadership core on the ice. The only guy on the Canucks willing to battle for a full game is Ryan Miller.(3) Willie is depending on guys named Dorsett and Prust to generate goals. Like the Sedins, they generate chances. But they don't generate goals.(4) The number 1 d-man on this team is a guy named named Alex Edler.
StarGirl
We have some bad positioning for a lot of the times and we miss the rebound chances too...Also, it's frustrating to see that many of our guys battle hard a long the boards for like over 30 seconds or that they kept cycling around the opponent's net for over 30 seconds, yet then they end up giving up the puck to the opponent player without ever having a chance to shoot towards the net. Bad luck can be in here too, but I think if we're skilled enough, we could definitely put pucks into the net regardless of bad puck luck.
baumerman77
This team isn't that good. It is going to be a very long year for the people who buy into Benning's "rebuilding on the fly" and "staying competitive" rhetoric.1. Young guys are too young to meaningfully and consistently contribute.2. Veterans are getting old and declining.3. Benning has traded offensive skill for intangible characteristics like "physicality" and "heart". This has made our team's offensive depth very thin -- which will likely be exposed when one of our top offensive players going down with an injury.4. Benning hired an inexperienced coach to oversee this transition.
Twilight Sparkle
3 on 3 is the problem... if we win those 3, we are 6 -2or, here's an idea, we get younger for the 3 on 3 format. the sedins just cant keep up anymore. the sport's always evolving, and benefits the younger guys more. the older guys have their role, but WD has the sedins where they shouldn't be, at this stage in their careers

Actually, the Sedins don't shoot the puck anymore...they take swipes at the puck hoping that it miraculously goes in the net. I've seen minor bantam AAA kids shoot harder than the twins.
