Miller A

If you gave this grade after the first 4 games, I would agree, unfortunately, the rest of the games he hasn't been an A player, especially when you consider his pay.  So far in 18 games he has had a save percentage below .900 in 8 games.  1 game at .900 and  9 above.  And that's what you would grade as an A?  I know you are the homers of all homers..but caman.

Are they..?..some are flattering to some players, but some are obviously wrong (Miller,Burrows)...Hopefully,everybody is taking into account that they're not rating the' player',just their performance in the 1st quarter....

By the 3rd quarter, these rankings will  look completely different...

He's basing his rankings based on 'expectations,' which turns out completely wrong cause he's not basing it on what they bring to the team. Such flawed subjectivity.

Miller doesn't trust his Players like Luo once did.  When Miller is making for example- the Peguins game- time and time again- he would leave the corner open..  Instead why not - get square to shooter simultaneously too??  Luo use to cover the top of the net very well.  While i do agree w TSN - if FINISH is the issue- its time to turn it around like Ottawa did. W positive all around energy - it better be SOON.

Tips for Miller- when u get he puck no player is in sight pass it to the closest player when n a powerplay- dont make them waste pp time and make them get it .

The loss of our injured players has been crucial.

Sbisa, a big part of our defensive physicality and push

Prust, surprisingly a big catalyst in our early play and a big loss physically and "psychologically"

Sutter, anyone watching his pre-injury play would know what a big loss he was.

Finally I have said it on numerous occasions but playing 3/4 rookies all at once (2 of whom didn't even play in the A) is hellishly difficult.

Hopefully when all the above are back, Vbrata finds his goal touch and Bo regains his form of last season we will show just what we can do.

I agree. Kate Beirness is a beauty. First time I saw her when she joined TSN, I was in awe. Such beauty.

Wonder what does she look like under that 5lbs of make up, looks like she's wearing a mask. Eyes look dead like a dolls eyes....Quint. s-net has much finer.

only sedins got A that's for sure, if so many canucks play so "good" how could they had only .500

If it truly is more about expectation than performance: Miller is a C as they expected him to be better than he has been, not that he is a C-grade player. If they expect someone to suck and they meet that expectation, they should get an A though so it doesn't really make much sense.

It's all about playing better than the other teams. Remember, there are 29 other teams in the same boat and fighting battles each night.
