Green Building Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 I'm a little bit surprised that more people haven't commented on the Gold medal game today. What a fantastic game of hockey. So many momentum swings. Russia again playing incredibly unselfish hockey throwing their bodies in front of pucks to rack up shot blocks. Very good stickwork and, at least for the first period and a bit, fantastic at taking away time and space in their own zone. But when momentum shifted for Finland it was like a storm surge. Unbelievably entertaining. I'm excited to see which of the top dogs go on to have successful NHL careers. Does anybody here watch KHL hockey? Did Svetlakov come out of nowhere for this tourny?
