We are taking a great asset and reducing it to nothing. Very silly from an asset management approach of a team that is going no where anyways... Put him on top line. Get 4-5 goals out of him. Then trade him for quality picks.... 2nd rounder ? No Willly wants to demote him to third line. Then try to trade him. NO offers. We lose him as UFA on a year when we don't even make the playoffs. Vbrata is working out there every night, anyone who actually watches the game can see that. Even the coach said it in his recent interview. Ok he has lost his scoring touch and as that was why we brought him here I suppose he needs to be on the block but it has nothing to do with lack of effort. It's not like they haven't played together long enough to have chemistry.
