What a bunch of petulant moronic children.  There are GOP members who sit on the committees doing the hearings and they can ask questions.  This part of impeachment is like a Grand Jury.  The House is figuring out if there is enough evidence to impeach and then send it to the Senate for the trial.

All their arguments are failing so now they try to disrupt the process. What a joke.

I guess this esplains how and why these idiots support the PGOTUS....they've all been the recipients of lobotomies and had their stupidity factor upped.

FFS, just when you think the Repukes can't get any more stupid they go and lower the bar again. I guess what was good enough for Bill Clinton's impeachment inquiry by Republicans doesn't cut it this time around. Trying to rewrite law and the rules of comportment for Impeachment... of course they are. Un&^@#ingbelievable...and if I weren't witnessing it with my own two eyes (four if I happen to have my glasses on), I wouldn't believe such a thing could happen in a First World Country in 2019.  It's a $&!#show from start to finish.

just need 5% of them to and the US can scrape Donald off their collective shoe.

Pelosi knows that the republican senators won't vote to remove him, or even sanction him. I think she's counting on it actually, it will drive voters to actually vote in the senate races and get a majority there too. Or by some miracle some republicans get a soul and they do something. Win win.

Trump lifts Turkey sanctions, calling ceasefire in Syria "permanent"

President Trump announced Wednesday that the U.S. would lift sanctions on Turkey because there will be a "permanent" ceasefire in the conflict between Turkey and the Kurds in northern Syria. The Kurds largely withdrew from the region under the terms of an earlier 120-hour ceasefire negotiated by the U.S.

The announcement came after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin brokered a new six-day ceasefire, which allows Russia to step into the power vacuum created after Mr. Trump announced the withdrawal of 1,000 U.S. troops from northern Syria.

The "crippling" sanctions were in place for all of 6 days.

The "Mooch" lasted longer in the White House than the sanctions did.

Yesterday William Taylor, former United States ambassador to Ukraine testified behind closed doors.

 https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/oct/23/trump-bill-taylor-testimony-republicans-impeachment-inquiry

I remember reading about documents uncovered during the United States diplomatic cables leak in 2010 (the Chelsea Manning leaks) , Dmytro Firtash told U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor of needing permission from alleged Russian crime boss Semyon Mogilevich to do business in Ukraine during the lawless 1990s.

Dmytro Firtash is a Ukrainian businessman who U.S. federal prosecutors described as an associate of Russian organized crime. In 2008, Firtash was involved with a firm owned by Paul Manafort in a $895 million project to redevelop the Drake Hotel in New York City. The deal was never finalized. Firtash owns seven television channels as well as an influential Kiev-based Ukrainian News Agency. Firtash is also cited as having part ownership of SCL Group and thus Cambridge Analytica through various shell companies.

You cant really blame a lot of these guys for what they are doing. They are owned by Russian mobsters and the penalty for betrayal is a lot worse than what they (and more importantly their families) would face domestically.

The blame goes solely to Chump for his crimes against humanity; anyone following his orders is an accessory to evil.  As long as these people show remorse and do their part to getting this subhuman waste of oxygen in prison for the rest of his pitiful excuse for a life, they're doing humanity a service.  By allowing Trump to continue to remain an enemy of democracy, I have no sympathy.  If people could do the right thing in Nazi Germany, people can do the right thing in the USA.  Get this bigot out of power by any means necessary.

Then tweeting out that the hearings are being held in secret, calling them soviet style.  Way to rile up your base with fake news Republicans, it's what you do best.

If you want to know why Trump's approval doesn't drop below 40%, look at Fox News and the right media coverage of this incident. They have people believing that there aren't any republicans already on these committees or they aren't allowed to speak in these meetings.

Fake news has taken over 40% of that country.
