How you can leave out CNN is absolutely astonishing.

I left out CNN and MSNBC because they are at the very least trying to report on facts. Their opinions are biased for sure but they do not blatantly lie like Fox.

Oh ok. So the Republicans were also playing politics when they all took turns slamming the Democrats for not letting them in?

Yup, there are 47 Republican House members who have access.

If that's the case that's pretty harsh. They all yelled into the mic as if some unjust thing was taking place.

Thanks for the info guys.

Something of this needs to be bipartisan and it would start by not making it closed doors from the Republicans.

47 Republicans are on the committee....

Quote

More than 40 Republican lawmakers disrupted witness testimony on Oct. 23 by storming a secure room and chanting, "Let us in!" Many news outlets and top Democrats quickly pointed out that roughly a dozen of the protesting Republicans already had access to the depositions they were demanding to hear.

Still, Limbaugh and others have charged that Republicans have been shut out of the House’s impeachment inquiry into Trump’s actions on Ukraine.

"The thing that, of course, is top-drawer today and has been all week is what little Adam pencil-neck Schiff is doing behind closed doors in a so-called impeachment inquiry that doesn’t feature the opposition party, it doesn’t feature cross-examination, no transcripts are released, everything’s being done in private, only selected leaks, you know the drill," Limbaugh said Oct. 25 on his radio show.

Limbaugh’s comments were made before House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision Oct. 28 to bring the probe to a more open phase, starting with an Oct. 31 vote on a resolution to affirm the ongoing investigation and start public hearings.

Limbaugh, who did not respond to requests for comment, has a point that the impeachment hearings have so far taken place behind closed doors, without transcripts being formally released. (News outlets have obtained transcripts of prepared witness remarks in some cases.)

But he is wrong that the hearings have excluded House Republicans, 47 of whom sit on the three committees that have been leading the investigation.

This is EXACTLY what Trump & Co hope for.  That their base do not look up the true facts and just believe their gospel words.  And denounce anything Democrats say as false.

Televangelist Paula White, President Trump's spiritual adviser, is reportedly joining the White House staff.

White, who has known Trump since 2002 and who has visited the White House several times, will work in the Office of Public Liaison, which oversees outreach to groups that help organize parts of the president's base, The New York Times reports.

Her specific role will reportedly be advising the Trump administration's Faith and Opportunity Initiative that aims to boost the voice of religious groups in certain government programs, The Times notes.

The Times notes that the move comes as Trump looks to maintain support from religious conservatives in the months leading up to the 2020 presidential election.

But while Trump has taken actions - including executive orders, cabinet appointments and judicial nominations - evangelicals Christians approve of, White is a controversial figure, meaning her appointment will likely become another source of contention among this group, The Times notes.

White told The New York Post last week that Trump is "not at all impulsive - he's so far ahead of everyone, very much a strategic thinker."

White delivered an opening prayer before his June campaign kickoff rally in Orlando, Fla., saying "demonic networks" have aligned themselves against Trump and vowing that the president "will overcome every strategy from hell and every strategy from the enemy."

I wonder if, in her role as "spiritual adviser", she will be advising the president on how to bang porn stars and walk into women's dressing rooms....<_<

CNN is as bad as Fox.  That is one big LOL from me.  Member when TRUMP got booed at the World Series and was greeted to chants of "Lock him up!"?

Fox and Friends:

"They stayed a pretty long time.  They were greeted with mixed reaction but they were out there smiling...  "

Me too.

Whenever I see or hear someone make that claim, my first reaction is to ask which 2 CNN on air hosts attended a Hillary Clinton election rally?

The show onstage might well have been called Fox & Friend. As President Trump wrapped up the midterm election cycle with a late-night rally on Monday in southeast Missouri, he was joined by a trio of conservative media rock stars.

Introducing the president as he stumped for Republican candidates was Rush Limbaugh, the radio host who was born and raised in Cape Girardeau. Then after Mr. Trump took the microphone, he invited two Fox News personalities, Sean Hannity and Jeanine Pirro, to join him onstage, where each also delivered a short speech backing the president.

"Just as bad"....

good thing I saw the ball game live.

Irony, watch a video talking about editing and the dangers there of. Then  at the end of the video, watch an add for a service that shrinks books into 15 minute audio segments. Roflmoa.

Here's the thing I'm not defending fox but apparently you're defending CNN. I wonder who they will give questions to in the 2020 debates. I'm sure ice cream and ketchup are what Americans find as news.

Anyway both are junk but to only say one is shows your bias and again it would appear you're in the minority but acting as if your opinion is superior.

My bad for not saying CNN has their warts.  I was just pointing out that CNN is not as bad as FOX.  Hope that clears it up.

Fair enough. Imo they're both junk in some form or another. Like why can't there be unbiased news? Just tell the events of the day? There is no doubt trump lies almost daily but cnn plays right into it and fox defends it. As much as I hate cbc they attack JT when scandals break. I feel their hosts are pretty liberal however the guests are always balanced. Both cnn and fox should take that approach imo.

TBH, I think there is. Even Faux, when they're just doing the news is more or less accurate. It's all the opinion shows, Like Hannity, Ingraham, Lemon and Cuomo where the bias comes in.

One thing I'll say about Cuomo though, he regularly brings conservatives onto his show and gives them an opportunity to defend trump and the Republican party. He calls them out, when he thinks they're not being honest, but he also concedes points, when they make good ones.

Lemon, OTOH, just stacks his panels with people he agrees with.

One thing I'll say about the Fox opinion shows, (and this is something that Bill Maher has long lamented) I wish liberals would go on Hannity, or Pirro to defend their side of the narrative. You don't make any inroads by preaching to the choir...

I just like the approach here.

News/events of the day.

Cpc guest/liberal guest/ndp guest.

Fair and balanced.

Look at tucker Carlson he invites people on to berate them and laugh at them.
