I'm surprised it took so long

Why do you say that?

The Wild are 1-7-2 in the past 10 games. The Wild need some kind of shakeup if they want to make the playoffs. They're tied in points with us in the conference.

If they're crashing, they've got some big contracts. Look like the Leafs of yesterday. Twenty mill squandered on a few contracts.

So does it get the wrecking ball, & then a do-over?

Always hear we need a D-man like Suter..apparently it's not so simple. So many elements required to build a top team.

Pominville, Vanek & Koivu are perhaps a season away from Lupul-status(overpriced, irrelevant, declining vet).

Try again Minny!

This is going back years, as the Wild always seem to have really bad stretches (although they have been able to combat them with good winning streaks). Many people felt that there was never a chance to win the Cup with him as HC, and they have a pretty strong roster not to get past the 2nd round.

Every team goes through a 'bad streak' and coaches usually get fired. I don't see this being any different than what a typical coach goes through. Easier to fire a coach than to fix the team.

That being said, Konopka on social media said 'Yeo has to go'. These are guys you don't want on your team. I suspect that the Wild team is not going to be successful under a different coach.

Minny > are they just not good enough down the middle?
