IE feel free to draft Matthews, Laine, Demko, including ALL KHL players. If you want Philip Larsen please draft him. You will hold his rights (not against the cap) until he comes to the NHL. If a player doesn't have a contract you will have to negotiate one before the 2016/2017 season. For GM's that draft players that are 2016 Draft eligible their contracts will be automatically be added. No negotiating needed. 1st - 3rd : $3,750,0004th - 10th : $2,500,00011th - 20th : $2,000,00021st - 30th : $1,500,00031st - 60th : $1,000,00061st - 90th : $750,000 I.E. If Jake Bean gets drafted 4th overall in the REAL 2016 NHL draft he will receive a 2.5M contract automatically for 3 years. Like for example, I could draft William Nylander since he's technically still a rookie, but could I draft Nik Ritchie from the same draft class even though he exceeded the 25 game limit? Sorry boss, I'm not understanding the question. That being said you are free to draft anybody that has been or will be drafted from 1950 - 2016. Anybody in that era can be drafted. I will not cheat, I will not look at it before hand. The Order is the order wither I pick 1st, 15th or 30th. I will create another thread just for the DRAFT.
