If you wish to trade picks you must have an equal number of picks going back and forth. 3. Time limits: May-June - 8 hour Draft limits are 7am-11pm PST. July-August - 4 hour Draft limits are 7am-11pm PST. September - 1 hour Draft limits are 7am-11pm PST. 3. At the very end of the draft you will have the chance to send me 2 contracts for players that don't fit their fantasy value. EX. Brooks Orpik, David Clarkson, Dave Bolland etc. (This rule has been removed, if you draft a player you take on his full cap) 4. http://www.draftpicklottery.com/ I will use this website to determin the draft order. You have to trust that I didn't cheat. I will shuffle the lottery 5 times. On the 5th time that will be the order we use. 5. For any players selected in the entry draft they will automatically be given salaries based on where they are drafted in the REAL 2016 NHL draft. They will be given the following salaries. Since the draft has not taken place, for now we will use the ISS rankings. 1st - 3rd : $3,750,000 4th - 10th : $2,500,00011th - 20th : $2,000,00021st - 30th : $1,500,00031st+ : $875,000 6. Note to all GMs: Positions WILL matter. You cannot draft 12 centers. You must have: At least 4 Cs, LWs and RWs At least 6 Dmen At least 2 Goalies The reason for this is because once we get into the later rounds, there will be no positional need. It will basically be 30 guys BPA'ing themselves. Positional need adds a bit of fun to mix, and keeps strategic picking throughout the rounds. Players may have multiple positions. If a player on your team plays a position in real life other than what is suggested on the spreadsheet, you may PM me asking me to change a position as long as you have a valid source from any of these websites: EliteProspects TSN NHL Hockey DB Yahoo Sportsnet Capfriendly 7. Slight changes to the starting goaltenders list: You may only have 1 starting goaltender. Here is the list of goaltenders that are considered to be a starter.
