Montreal is open to trades. Sellers.

Also I believe the Gallagher trade has yet to be posted

It's processed on cap sheets. Pretty sure it got posted somewhere in the thread.

Same. The TO firesale continues.

Is this usually such a quiet league? I get Puck notifications every day. I get Pool notifications like once a week.

We have a group chat outside league, also being the sister league of Sim, most people are active in that thread instead.

Also it is the middle of the summer. Lots of people on vacay.

I also don't make a new post for every single transaction. I try to group them together.

Detroit Red Wings Off-Season Report

The Detroit Red Wings team looks notably different from when GM Watermelons took over mid-season. Enter Alex Galchenyuk, Nolan Patrick, Mattias Janmark, and Vadim Shipachyov. Out a collection of roster players and draft picks who were not deemed as important for the team's future. The offseason would look even better if only Kovalchuk signed an NHL deal as well. Nevertheless, things are looking up for the organization.

After taking over, GM Watermelons had one goal - acquire high end young talent. While some of our trade discussions didn't pan out the city is delighted to welcome Galchenyuk and Patrick as the faces of the franchise going forward. It's about time the Detroit Red Wings franchise picked in the top 2 of the draft again.

Rumours out of the Detroit front office say that the team is looking for ways to create cap space before the season starts and wants to move on from at least one of several superstars who are still in their prime. Namely, Anze Kopitar, Phil Kessel, James Neal, and Brent Seabrook. Any interested parties should contact GM Watermelons immediately - you wouldn't want to see these stars end up on your divisional rival's team! The team's priority seems to be to continue acquiring young players while aiming to contend by the 2018/19 season. While the forward group and goalies look ready, the defence still needs a ton of work.

The team's projected roster for the 2017/18 is as follows:

NHL ROSTER

James Neal - Anze Kopitar - Vladimir Tarasenko

Richard Panik - Alex Galchenyuk - Phil Kessel

Tom Wilson - Nolan Patrick - Vadim Shipachyov

Matthias Janmark - Dennis Rasmussen - Joonas Donskoi

Brent Seabrook - Justin Schultz

Michael Matheson - Brayden McNabb

Anthony Bitetto - Mike Reilly

Ben Bishop

Chad Johnson

Notable Prospects: Will Butcher, Jake DeBrusk, Filip Chytil
