Another highly controversial column written by the most honest man in sports. John Garrett.

Although posted on the Predators official website, the team has made the following statement. "The views of John "The Phenom" Garrett don't reflect our management views. We value Tyler Johnson, Sidney Crosby and Nick Bonino highly and will work as hard as possible to extend them to new contracts. If the right offer came along for any player, we would consider it."

That being said, it was John who has called many of GM Apollo's moves and we would not be surprised if he's bang on %100 right about him trying to move one of the 3 centers.

CONTRACT SIGNING.jpg

On behalf of General Manager @canuckledraggin, the Toronto Maple Leafs are pleased to announce the signing of:

Columbus has been looking for a back-up for a while now. Can't believe we whiffed on this one.

It appears as though Budaj will be the starter until the Kings land another goalie after Zatkoff was seen helped off the ice today with an apparent groin injury. The depth move could see the veteran switch places with Elliot, who is off to a brutal start with the Flames.

Unfortunately he will be contending with a white hot Vancouver team in his start tonight and will likely see more rubber than he can handle.

It's rumored that Luca Sbisa was with Hannah Bernard alllllll night longyesterday and was too sore to perform well tonight.

GM Apollo is fine with that. He was quoted... "when you're as good looking as Luca... You get sore after a 3 hour marathon with a babe like Hannah Bernard"

(jk I know he's dating someone else)

Boston doing better than we expected to start the year!   B)

Boston is very pleased to congratulate Nicholas Baptiste & Joel Eriksson Ek. Each having made their NHL debut's this week. Also scoring their first goal.  They're part of the renaissance started by previous management here in Boston.

This chases Christian Dvorak, who has his first point and debuted last week. Josh Morrisey made his debut last week as well & had his 1st point this. Devin Shore had 3 games last year. He's is off to a hot start with a goal and 3 assists as another rookie. Rob O'Gara has made his debut.  William Nylander might not be the favourite for ROY. But he is our scoring leader & may play himself into that race? They make up 7 rookies currently on our roster.

We've also got sophomores Colin Miller, the exciting Robbi Fabbri & Jordan Martinook. Robbi & Jordan producing, playing key roles. On the near horizon is another 5 rookies. Who we think will also pick up a game or more this year?

Congratulations & thanks to all! It may be hard to maintain our pace with this many young players? But its a very exciting start.

small.png  To CHI: Paul Byron

The Chicago Blackhawks thank GM @Jaku and his Anaheim Ducks for negotiating this mutually beneficial trade.

We welcome Paul to our team, and look forward to adding his experience and leadership on our bottom six.

We also wish luck to Matt (who is up with the RL LA team), Adam (solid prospect) and Mike (veteren who could provide help in the NHL this year) on their great opportunity with a contending Anaheim team.

Thanks as always to tireless Commish @Master Mind for processing our trade.

They're part of the renaissance started by previous management here in Boston. We know where they came from & threw credit. But yes thanks! Nail!

Where new management fits in is having cleared, cap, positions and roster spots for them. And hopefully adding another generation to follow.

Speaking of which > with a dearth in young centre talent we have been taking interest on Jean Gabriel Pageu.  Who scored 43 NHL points last year. He's now well established as a 3rd line centre in Ottawa and it isn't looking like anyone will challenge him for that spot in the near future? We're looking for a young defensive talent as the return. Either just starting in the NHL or still a prospect.

Pageau is great value, on a $900,000 contract, for any cash strapped teams?
