So @Nail is next to the 5K threshold...

As for Boston?  We get Burakovsky & Radulov back, Hossa goes down...  But things seem good for the most part!

I am hoping to get Ekblad, Manning, and Schlemko back. My D is taking a beating so it's getting tough to keep pace with you

Starting Quick over Ward doesn't pay off for me yet again. Got hooked after 2 goals allowed on 7 shots but Bishop wasn't any better. Apparently they'll be starting him tomorrow so hope he bounces back. Ward put a solid performance with a 40 save effort though came in a losing cause. Kings and me need Quick to be clutch down the stretch if we want to make a playoff run. He has to be lights out and go undefeated lol

Last week I was pulling ahead.

Right now, not so much?

It was looking like you were going to run away with it there. A couple of good performances and goalie points got me back in the race. Although you have held your own on those nights too.

Depends who you ask. Mrs Mind told me the TV we have is just fine.

...

Wait, nevermind.

Pominville a healthy scratch last game? I thought Boudreau only forgot how to coach in the playoffs? Guess he's starting early this year.

A good solid night for Tampa Bay. Still need a few guys to start bringing it more consistently but overall pretty happy with the stretch drive.

Pretty happy to see Elias Lindholm on an 8 game point streak! Fun fact - he and Calle Jarnkrok are cousins...so uh, whoever has Jarnkrok should contact me....I'm interested.

Happy to see a solid night from the Yotes, but it would have been nicer to see @Tylez get a few less points. ;) The playoffs are still in reach!

That said, we'd like to congratulate the following prospects on their outstanding seasons:

@Master Mind The Canes are sure giving your Rangers a run for their money down the stretch run!

Was 267.5 points back of you on March 1st, now after tonight's games we are only 115.25 points back!

Likely too little too late, but at least we're making things interesting!

Introducing our new captain, Jannik Hansen!

nyr.jpg.6edc849a0f737fded173de4f251e835c.jpg

He may have only been with the team for less than a month, and hasn't played much, but he was the coach's first choice.

AV on Hansen: I've had the privilege to coach Jannik before, and I can tell you first hand what tremendous person he is. He always gives it his all, and sticks up for his teammates - that's exactly the kind of attitude we want leading our team.

The Rangers are scheduled to go visit the California teams this weekend, but they decided to make a pit stop in Nashville, so that the former captain could pass on the torch so to speak.

They even decided to wear their old Canuck jerseys, as a tribute to the last time they were teammates.
