I doubt this is going to happen, as I feel more trades are coming rather than just UFA signings, but without knowing which teams are clearing out cap, this is what I'd do. If cap was there, I'd probably trade Higgins to Chicago for Bickell + 4th. Gaborik might also be worth taking a look at if he's bought out or if LA is willing to eat some salary, especially if Eriksson declines our invite. I'd also be willing to take a look at Eric Staal for our 2nd line at around 5 million short term if no one else in the league is interested after his dismal last few seasons.
