N4ZZY
glad that Etem got picked up by Anaheim. if, however, he doesn't show that he can stick and contribute at the NHL level, he's going to be on waivers again.

And we (because of the waiver rules) will get first shot at him.
DownUndaCanuck
He had something like 7 points in his last 8 games against some pretty tough teams. This kid has always been on the verge of a breakout and I think he would have been a fantastic big bottom-6 winger similar to Nolan King in L.A. Those utility players are useful, easily replaceable but when you get a big body who can hit and score at a 15-20 goal pace, you hold on to them. Pete M
Arguably Etem is better than Burrows...it's a case of roster spots being taken up by players that have earned respect for past performances and not for "what have you done for me lately" performances. Etem is young, strong, and fast...hopefully, he is given a chance like these over rip vets are given.

Etem is a FAR BETTER, and much younger player. Maybe all those so called experts who keep picking us to be last know stuff about our owner, management, and coaching that we are not privy too? Playing Burrows over Etem is not the reason "experts" are (were?) predicting us to finish last
Katobaron
Anyone have any updates on how Etem has looked for Anaheim this year? With the likes of Skille, Megna and Chaput getting playing time recently he would probably be seeing some pretty good minutes if we had found a way to keep him! He was sent down the Anaheim's farm team in the AHL, the San Diego Gulls. He's played 1 game there and scored in it. Not sure why he hasn't played beyond that. Needless to say, things aren't looking good for him.
