To Washington:

Brandon Sutter (retain $1.5M)

Markus Granlund (retain 50%)

Alex Biega (retin 50%)

To Vancouver:

Andre Burakovsky

Madison Bowey

Fits under Washington's cap this year and we only have to retain $1.5M for Sutter for two more years, which brings us up to Petey's expiring contract and the expansion draft in the summer of 2021.

We only have one more contract we can retain until MDZ deal is expired iirc.

I'd prefer an NHL-ready d prospect over the pick.

Here "u" go:

Defensive targets for the Canucks

Ryan Biech of the Athletic: Looking at a couple young defensive prospects that the Canucks target in a trade: Dante Fabbro (Nashville), Roland McKeown (Carolina), Julius Honka (Dallas), and Lawrence Pilut (Buffalo).

Fabbro would be a nice pickup. But Sutter and Bonino on the same team? CDC might explode.

He’s a centreman with 2 assists, who is supposed to be a checking centre but his line gets hemmed in their own zone for the majority of most games.

I don’t see the need in having both him and Beagle, it basically nullifies any offence from the bottom 2 lines. Keep one of them sure.

Didn't even notice he was injured tbh, that's how much of a non-factor he's become.  Also Horvat seems score when Sutter is not in the lineup.

Its funny how goldobin gets heat for only playing in one zone but Sutter and tanev get away with it every night.

This.

Brandon softer the foundation player......with No value.

Over payed to get him and then again when he was resigned. Less and less value like much of the older vets on this team. Was never a fan of Softer, Bonino is and was the better player.

Alex Edler will be the next to win the Jim Benning lottery.

maybe Brackett  in charge of contracts too, In fact maybe Brackett should be the GM since they are all Bracketts picks that seem to be panning out.
