Juolevi gets a goal + an assist on an empty netter:

That's a nice wrister. The fact that he can score from that far out is going to generate a lot of scoring chances for our team on the rush.

I think OJ already has an NHL offence. Looking forward to seeing him soon.

I think it's only a matter of time before Oli shows that he is ready for the NHL.  Like many have said, he's coming back from some tough injuries, so it's probable that he just needs a little more time to be the player that he was expected to be when drafted.  It's going to be well worth the wait.

Olli panning out sooner than later would be such a &^@#ing boon for this team.

Kid has looked very good since he came back from injury.  He is going to push to make the team out of camp next year.  As is Raftery. Lind maybe as well.

Our prospect depth makes our cap situation so much more manageable.

We have shown time and again that if young players earn a spot out of camp that management will make room for them. Whatever contracts in the way need to outplay the youth and not get waived.

We got lots of bad contracts expiring over the next few seasons, I think Myers is arguably our only long term contract that could turn out iffy and he’s very movable if he continues the way he’s played but the eriksson Baer sutter beagle contracts are all gone by summer 22 along with the Luongo penalty lots of room for resigning our stars to promotions and then roster spots for our prospects

We're pretty set up in 2 more seasons when we're gonna have a lot of guys knocking on the door.

Might have one or two next young guys next season but the season after we might see Hog, Pod, Rathbone, Juolevi, Lind and Madden(later in the year) compete for spots/get good looks. Most of our prospects are playing pro/college and it really fits where we are as an organization right now.

That 2021 draft Luke Hughes is available too. We might need a top 10 pick to nab him though.

Yup! Trade Stretcher at the TDL, call up Rafferty, OJ can replace Rafferty as the Comets #1D and 1st call up option.

Next year OJ can be first injury call up again to start, and eventually replace Benn at the TDL.

The one and only Hannibal, even Liam Neeson couldn't do better.

He's only credited with 19 points on hockeyDB. Was one of his assists taken away from him?

Maybe?  But what’s most important is OJ is clearly going to be a really good top four D man for us.  He’s going to turn out, after he’s fully mature, the excellent D man JB expected at the draft.
