Scored with a minute and a half remaining to tie the game and force OT (where Calgary later won). Now has 37 points (22 goals and 15 assists) in 47 WHL games played this season. SID.IS.SID.ME.IS.ME Posted March 3, 2018 Share Posted March 3, 2018 I’m still nowhere near wanting to give Stukel an NHL ELC, but I’m definitely warming to the idea of giving him an AHL/ECHL deal. He probably has a decent enough chance to develop into a better player than the boatload of guys Utica brings in on PTOs every year. Can’t hurt to have him in their system. Long shot he becomes more than an AHL level player, but he does have good speed and hands, which can get you a fairly long way, especially if you’re willing to work on the other stuff.
