Ojibwa72
Will compete for a wildcard spot but lose in the final week and out of the playoffs again. Mid range draft picks kept and JB will do his due diligence in contending in 17/18 and will make playoffs.

Rick_theRyper
D.Sedin 32g 49a H.Sedin 17g 61a L.Erickson 36g 32a A Burrows 21g 24a B Sutter 19g 28a J. Hansen 25g 17a S. Bearcheese 16g 18a B. Miller 36-18-8 Markstrum 16-4-0 Canucks finish 52-22-8 (112points) Sedins and Burrows and Erickson all have timely good seasons and Marky shows he's ready to take the lead from Miller. Bo jake and Sven continue to contribute decent 3rd line scoring. Sutter proves he is worth his contract and makes up for missing an entire season. Hansen has repeat season. Rex425
Canucks finish 4th in division. Not sure if we'll make the playoffs but we'll be right in the hunt. Sedins and Eriksson get more than 60 points. Horvat gets 50 points playing on a line with Baer and Virt. That becomes our second line by the later parts of the season(25-35 pts for Virt, 35-45 points for Baer). Rodin has a good season and Sutter helps him get adjusted to the NHL. Our defense doesn't have any 35+ point scorers, but has a very good season defensively. Goaltending is good again. Overall, I'm just excited for the season to start.

Dekey Pete
Canucks will finish 3rd in the Pacific, as the Sharks are due for a drop off after their long playoff run this year. Calgary and Arizona aren't getting any better. With the addition of Eriksson, the Sedins surprise everyone (once again) and prove they are still amongst the top 20 forwards in the league. Sutter is healthy for more than 20 games and is a valuable contributor to the 2nd/3rd line. With Sutter back, Horvat is able to focus back on his development, and has a breakout year. Jim Benning trades the 2017 second round pick for _______ Someone starts a useless "blow up the team" or "fire WD" thread every time the team loses a couple games. Jiggs50
Sedins score less than 70 points Eriksson pots 31 goals. Virtanen pots 14. Baertschi and Horvat score more than 45 points each. Hutton hits 30 points Markstrom starts more games than Miller Sutter scores more than 20 goals Canucks make the playoffs.
thepress83
I think Bo has a breakout Kesler like year (60 points) and Sutter stays healthy for the season giving us flexibility down the middle. The Canucks surprise a lot of people with their defensive depth as Hutton and Gudbranson gain chemistry over the first 20 games and Sbisa becomes expendable in a mid season trade. If the Canucks D can stay healthy and the Sedins don't miss more than 10 games the Canucks will challenge for the division lead but will end up making the playoffs in the 5/6 seed. If the Sedins or Eriksson miss more than 10 games each the Canucks will once again be a lottery team with the 5/6th worst record in the league. Bigturk8
- Canucks finish with 92 pts. Good for a wild card position - Bounced by Nashville (Regular season WC champions) in the first round - Miller is not traded by the TDL but has an excellent season - Markstrom starts half of the games and puts up slightly better numbers than Miller - Eriksson posts a career year with 75 pts on the Sedins wing - No regression from the Sedins yet - Tryamkin emerges as a top 4 D - Rodin puts up 35 pts (14g, 21A) - Sutter stays healthy and puts up 45 pts - Larsen is underwhelming. Similar season to Yannik Weber last year - Hutton sees more PP time and is more offensive with Gudbranson pairing. Puts up 35 pts - Horvat anchors the 3rd line all season and thrives (50 pts) - Virtanen sticks with the team again and posts 30 pts on the 3rd line with Horvat - Etem has another rocky season - Grandlund plays a solid 2 way game on the 4th line but struggles to produce (15pts) - Subban gets a few games and has a very solid showing - PK finishes top 10 in the league - PP finishes top 15 in the league That's all for now. I'll probably edit later in the summer depending on if anything changes.

Boris Badenov
Pacific Standings: San Jose Anaheim Arizona Los Angeles Edmonton Calgary Vancouver NHL Predictions: -Washington will get the #1 seed of the Eastern Conference, but lose in the 1st round of the playoffs -Avs will be finishing 30th Overall. -The Stanley Cup Final will be Tampa Bay vs. Nashville, with TB winning it all in 6 (Edit: changing to TB due to Crosby concussion, and he doesn't do so hot after injuries.) McMuffin puts up 36 goals Nucks Predictions: Finishes in the top 5 of the worst teams. No matter where they place, say hello to another 5th overall pick in 2017. WD stays on board regardless of how badly the Canucks do. If on the unlikely chance we do get rid of him, Patrick Roy will take his place (hehe) Canucks lead NHL in giving up short handed goals (13) One of the twins is out half the season, and impacts Erikssons production #. Might end up putting 25 in the back of the net though. If, however, the twins stay tough as nails, Loui will be out for at least 2 months. Killing peneltys improves on the plus side. No improvements on 3 on 3. Markstrom gets more opportunities to start games but inevitably Miller remains the #1 starter. Goal tending future questionable (Will Demko stay the course? they ask...) Young guys asked to step up again but put up moderate numbers Draft Pick opinions: OJ wasn't my 1st choice. Haven't been convinced yet that Nucks shouldn't have taken Matthew Tkachuk, or if they wanted a D-Man it should have been Jakob Chychrun. Only time will tell whether I eat my own words on this. World Series predictions: Since it just happens to be around the corner, it'll be Jays vs Cubs and Cubs take it in 5 games.
