Canucks needed a Right Winger and Benning got them the best one available.  Win.

Eriksson gives some wonderful options that Vrbata  didn't.  I'd like to see Eriksson with the Sedins, but if could be fun to see him with Baer and Bo too.

Im so happy we got Eriksson, he's arguably the most skilled forward in the market. The Ladd and Lucic deals are risky for hose teams. Loui will still be an effective player witu or without the Twins.

So happy we got him! Total bargain compared to the Lucic deal. No NMC makes a HUGE difference! I can see Eriksson and the Sedins prolonging their careers from this.

Agreed and a very significant bonus for the team.  His history of 'making his team mates better' is intriguing as well.  Imagine how he can help some of the younger players improve their games.  I also am seeing a substantial improvement in the team PP.

Definitely! And maybe give Rundblad one more chance at sticking in the NHL? He's only 25 so this might be his last shot. Would be cool to see the "Swedish Connection" with him and Edler on the blueline.
