Is Black Lives Matter a 'hate group' or 'terrorist organization'?

The bulk of humanity is full of idiots. Inevitably when a peace movement starts to trend on a large scale the proportion of involvment of these idiots will increase.

Unfortunately for America, there are (a loooooooooooooot of idiots) a large scale movement is needed to make a dent in the mindset.

Just had to add

#alllivesmatter and #blacklivesmatter are not mutually exclusive, one is specifically relevant at the moment, therefore is the focus.  All lives do matter, #refugeelivesmatter, #yazidilivesmatter etc, etc, etc.  BLM is not hate group or a terror group, but there are extremists that will invoke the movement with their extreme actions.  We should judge a peace movement on the actions of a few.  I'm extremely glad to live in Canada, it's like winning the life lottery.

It shouldn't be "black lives matter" it sounds like they only care about themselves... rather #ALL LIVES MATTER

but then again..

CAN HOCKEY SEASON START ANY QUICKER..DAMMMIITTTTT

Putting aside the issues with that group, "all lives matter" is ridiculous when the unjustified shootings by cops seem to involve more black people than anyone else. That "all lives matter" folk would even play that card in this context is weak.

Some are, but for all the wrong reasons. There is videos from the Dallas shootings of people with BLM chanting kill more cops etc. What would happen if someone started a white lives matter movement? They would be deemed racist. All lives do matter, not just black lives.

This is a ridiculous statement.

#blacklivesmatter doesn't mean all other lives don't matter. Not sure why you'd think that. #blacklivesmatter speaks specifically to a massive issue of clear systemic violence against black people.

There are some extremists in the group, as there always are, but the essential message is the same.

There have been quite a few peace officers (including black sheriff's) coming forward and calling them these things. There is a petition to get them named as one and the Russian government  (for what it's worth now calls them onr). Just curious what CDC opinions are.

Confused by the mention of Russia? Please explain.

Hundreds of black people die with no legal inquiry into the deaths. White folks never noticed or cared.  As soon as a movement starts and white people start feeling threatened, suddenly it's a terrorist group in their minds.

The vast majority of Americans, while generally nice people, have no perspective and find experiences different than their personal experience to be inconceivable.  But it's proof of how incredibly screwed up the US is that people can lead such different lives with such different treatment from the system, while at the same time having no inkling that it isn't the same way for everyone else in their nation.

I think the problem is they lack effective leadership. A strong leader like MLK was able to channel everyone's efforts. Due to lack of direction I think their message gets distorted by a few idiots in their group. Everything considered though they are absolutely necessary. I just hope that over time that movement can mature into one with a direction and a clear mandate and won't allow itself to be influenced by the extremists that it will no doubt draw.

As it is right now though, you have black leaders of communities posting videos calling them terrorists and racists. Then you have Gavin Mcinnes posting his thoughts http://takimag.com/article/oops_we_started_a_race_war_gavin_mcinnes/print

You're discrediting an entire movement because of something a few people may have shouted?

That's like claiming the occupy movement didn't have any merit because a few people may have yelled kill all bankers.

No minority in the US struggles with racism and hate to the extent that black people do. If you don't understand why they need a movement like this then you haven't been following US history too closely.

Hilarious how with all the oppression blacks have felt over the years, when they say enough is enough, whites call them terrorists

That's why a bill like C-51 was so dangerous in Canada.

A group like this can be deemed a terrorist organization and before you know it they can put any of these protesters in jail without cause.

This guy is a serious donkey.  Listen to his thoughts on women and that will tell you all you need to know about him.

They are definitely NOT a terrorist organization but they are certainly out of their god**** minds and out of touch with facts and reality. They probably fit into the other one although I don't like using "hate group" as a term to describe things.
