Fateless
Considering his strength was in his speed and tenacity - adding that much weight that fast could really hurt the part of his game that got him into the NHL. Its important to build muscle into your frame as you develop, but 25 pounds in a year could do more harm than good.
Mathew Barzal
Good for him. That kind of drive will get him far. It's not like he can't lose it either if it affects his game, there'll be a happy medium for him.
ken kaniff
An average human Gaines 10-15lbs of muscle A YEAR. Working out and eating right. He's gained 25lbs over a summer. That must be mostly fat
Cramarossa
Really?? He should give Granlund some advice That seems like a lot in such a short time, but then again I've done the same, although mine is just flab.
Rocky Balboa
I thought I gained 25 lbs once then I went to take a poop and lost most of it and then realized someone also fudged with the scale.

Crabcakes
To be fair, I heard that he had put on as much as 10 through the course of the season so another 15 in 3 months is possible but still a lot. FWIW The Panthers, HF and HockeyDB have him at 179 (last years weigh in at camp) Wikipedia has him at 187 Eliteprospects has him at
Mr.53
He has to be joking, or just gotten fat. It's just not possible for someone to put on 25 pounds of muscle, or even have most of that be muscle in a couple of months. 10-15 pounds maybe. MAYBE! But that's just too much. I don't believe it. I'll believe it when I see it. But if it's true... Damn... that's some good homecooking.
DeNiro
Most players tend to lose weight over the course of the season. So being up 25 lbs is definitely possible if the net gain is only actually like 10-15 lbs.
