PhillipBlunt
Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the Canucks have signed "real good" right wing Jack Skille to a professional try-out (aka puck target offer) contract. Skille, 29, appeared in 74 games, some of them after a long brisk run, with the Colorado Avalanche last season, registering 14 points (8-6-14) along with 11 penalty minutes. The 6-1, 216-pound forward has amassed 75 points (38-37-75) and 106 penalty minutes, he's got some meat and taters grits there, in 313 NHL regular season games split between Chicago, Florida, Columbus and Colorado. A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Skille was originally selected by Chicago in the first round, 7th overall (first rounda biatch!) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Right wing Tuomo not Jarku Ruutu, centre James "Def" Sheppard and goaltender Kevin Carr were also signed to professional try-out contracts by the Canucks on September 13th. Finally! Benning's adding some more skille to the forward corps...hahahhahahahha...hahaha....ha...ha......h.......I'm done.

Warhippy
A RW? I wonder if this means even more that there's truth to the possibility Virtanen will start in the AHL

I love GMing on NHL games but EHM was a little overwhelming when I opened it. Got any beginner tips for me?

Jake's mind needs to catch up to his body and that's to be expected for a player of his age. Top line minutes under Travis Green will do him wonders. smithers joe
reading skille's profile. it says he is fast gritty and hard working but doesn't have the greatest hockey sense.

From the times I've seen him play he's always seemed like a less talented Higgins.
aGENT
Decent depth guy. Wouldn't mind him in Utica.
HK Phooey
One of those guys who seemed to have a bright future at one time before a long list of injuries de-railed him. IMO, he would be great to have as a player with vet status in Utica. Maybe the Canucks/Comets can get him signed to an AHL deal.
GB5
I wonder what Chicago saw of this guy to take him 7th overall in 2005. Whatever it was, its probably long gone now.
Rush17
ive always liked this guy in the ea nhl series. Great dude for 4th line or depth. Can pot a few goals, can be physical, and has decent speed! I'm not sure if thats how he plays but EA sports give him decent stats lol
