And honestly I am getting tired of seeing the same issues not being resolved. When are we gonna realize that this team needs serious help? When are we gonna realize that we have to do something asap? When are we gonna realize that change is seriously needed for this Orginization? I have seen this team spiral for past four or more seasons! And I keep repeating my self over and over and over on these cdc threads! Sure I'm just some Canuck Fan! who apparently has no clue about hockey! Which is fricken ridiculous! And ludicrous! since I've been playing hockey! aswell studying! and watching this sport I love my entire life! I'm 33 yrs by the way lol! I consider myself a huge Canuck fan who has followed this team since I was 5 years of age! I love this team as many of you do! And want nothing more then this team to be successful:) Anyways back to the point! These are the obvious reasons why this team is doing so poorly! That some of you may or may not see! Just my opinion! But brutally honest and fair! 1. Over paid players with ridiculous long term contracts! This has been an ongoing issue for us in the past decade, since salary cap came ineffect. We must learn from this and not continue to make these same mistakes! over and over again! Why put or team in a deficit that we can't pull or selves out of? Now we have a bunch of players on our team with stupid long term contracts with barely any value left! for any decent trades that we can make! Maybe we can get lucky! for some draft picks! Maybe! Buying out players might be our only solution to open up cap space to Aquire better players for this team! IMHO.... 2. Coaching! For obvious reasons! Willie just does not work with today's style of hockey! This is full on offence, speed and skill type of style! Sure he decent on the back end! But that's all he has to offer. and honestly he's mediocre at that at best! Maybe give lines more time to play with each other to develop chemistry! Instead of switching lines every five fricken minutes! Chemistry is key! when developing into a line to score goals or whatever that might be in particular! he has no clue, About special teams, powerplay or any offence matters, imho! Sorry Willie you need new strategies with Today's high flying caliber hockey! I'm not to sure if WD is the right fit imho! 3. Trading for players! Or trading for prospects or draft picks! We need to do something we are falling behind due to lack of scoring! Either we trade players or we start making cap room to Aquire players asap! We Need PLAYERS who's can Score Goals In The Worst Way! Thank God! we have a few good prospects that can help us out a few years down the line! 4. Cdc Arming and GMing! Ok I get how we like to voice our opinions for the Canucks general staff! But why even have it! Honestly! Nothing ever good comes from it! but negative comments! All I ever here from trade proposals is, we can't! We suck! We have no players that would want any of ours! Your dumb that would never work! Just negative apawn negative and more negative stuff! Never anything positive come from arming and GMing! Why have it! It's soppose to be for voiceing your opinions and other people giving you positive feed back! No matter how ridiculous a trade may seem to be! Help a person out by voicing your thoughts about there trade! Give them advice on how we can make a trade possible! Don't give negative feed back! That's how that should work! Come on people! Can we please start doing something for this team! Cause it hurts me to see my favourite team in the whole wide world faltering over and over again! It fricken sucks! Yes it's only 11 games in! But that doesn't matter it's gonna be the same no matter how you think! Unless we do something now! We need Help in all areas of the Canucks Orginization wether or not you except that or not! It's the TRUTH! I can't believe this is happening over and over again! I apologize @Baggins, but you are correct sir. This is a long term project, and in fact we will not see JB's draft picks pan out until their 3rd draft year. I have witnessed the greatness of 2011 and 1994, and now have the patience for a full rebuild. I am but a lonely dying flower upon which this team must get together and build again. In the meanwhile I sip endless shots of vodka to cure the pain. Boeser looks real guud right now, so does Joulevel. After this early seasons return, I just wish for some beautiful hockey again. This is at least a 3 year rebuild. and I understand that watching the current team will provide heartache, but once again 3 years is the min. which we should be judging. No reason to panic, after all you and me have witnessed the 80's and realize what it takes to build a winner again. Most of these posters have grown up in the WCE era, where we scored some beauts.
