This shouldn't surprise anyone. Bettman is the worst commissioner in N. American sports period. That was brilliant should have shown the NHL what a moron Bettman is. Watched an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary on John Spanos and how he pulled it off. Mike Milbury sure liked the lunches and the girls with his ol' buddy John. SabreFan1
The Las Vegas Golden Knights won't be involved at Trade Deadline... They won't be able to get the final cash payment and requisite paperwork to the NHL in time for the TDL. The new owner is trying to claim that the paperwork is the holdup, not the cash. He's full of crap. You can hire lawyers if you need mountains of paperwork done. Law firms have paralegals and associate lawyers on staff just specifically for client clerical legal needs. Yet another cash poor owner. The NHL needs to start making sure that the people who buy their franchises have the liquid assets to hit the ground running. https://www.nhl.com/news/vegas-owner-says-golden-knights-wont-be-involved-in-trade-deadline/c-287012626?tid=278542340
