Please add if you find more tidbits Canucks better be in the dog fight for one of these guys. Not sure if we have the pieces to make it work but they are first line talent that we don't have. I actually highly doubt that. Colorado has a gaping hole on the left side of their defense and Edler would arguably be their #2 guy, so he'd get his minutes there. If JB wants either of these forwards, Avs likely start with asking for either OJ or BB + extra picks. Then hopefully JB hangs up and discussion over. Warhippy Posted December 23, 2016 Share Posted December 23, 2016 If it's anything going it's a combo of youth and prospects. Boeser, Demko, Tanev, Subban, Juolevi, Gudbranson 1sts and 2nds. Under 25 players either establishing themselves or of the blue chip variety. If we're looking at a Tanev or Gudbranson + for Landeskog cool. But if we're looking at any of the others it's almost a non starter for us for the same reason anyone older is a non starter for Colorado. Like it or not 2 bad teams that need to rebuild.
