Should they not have wasted time scouting some oversized longshot from way off in Russia? Benning was just over seas scouting.......he doesn't do all the scouting by himself....it has already been said they're following the NCAA closely..... It's not as if this kid would be ever expected to make the Canucks for the foreseeable future, if ever. At the very least it could add depth on the farm. Alaska and Utica need guys, too. Guy was a stud. If we're gonna sign guys like this they better be able to skate fast and crash and bang hard at the very least.
