Blazer8717
To Van: Tyler Johnson + 3rd To TBL: Hutton Granlund I think this deal benifits both teams. We get a future 1st/2nd center and TB gets a great young defenseman to round out their top four. Granlund helps fill the gap left by Johnson. OR Same deal except for Kucherov and we offer a 2nd round pick as well.
Fanuck
I would really hope that a Hutton/Granlund combo could fetch a better return than that (not necessarily light-years better, but better nevertheless). I have doubts that Johnson can be as effective a scorer in the west as he has been in the east - but you never know.
elvis15
Are we drafting that 1/2C with the 3rd rounder? Because as much as I like Johnson, he's a diminutive guy who hasn't produced anywhere near the point per game pace he had two years ago in his breakout season. Definitely no guarantee he'd be a 1C, and we have enough players with Horvat and Sutter who can be the 2C. He is not who we want to target if we decide to move Hutton and Granlund in a package. Nucker 67
Johnson, although very good for TB, is small (5' 8"). I'd hate to trade Hutton and Granlund for a player that could get banged up often in the west.
