Jonathan Dahlén | C/LW

Way to be quick on the draw, mate.

Looks to be pretty good. I hope to see him in the AHL or the SHL soon. Might be our Sutter replacement one day perhaps?

Jonathan Dahlen

Center -- shoots L
Born Dec 20 1997
[19 yrs. ago]
Height 5.11 -- Weight 176[180 cm/80 kg]
Drafted by Ottawa Senators
- round 2 #42 overall 2016 NHL Entry Draft

A playmaking center. My craving for one of these is now appeased. Props Jimbo!

I'm out of pluses, but thanks for getting this up so quick.

" An offensively very skilled player. Dahlén is a good scorer and playmaker and quite shifty with fine technical skills and overall offensive awareness. Furthermore, an agile and creative player with great character. Skating might look suspicious at times, in some ways quite comparable to father Ulf's, but he reaches good speed and and has impressive edge work. Good work ethic and a capable two-way player. - See more at: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=212368#sthash.F9lBTkJd.dpuf "

Looks promising.  Good return for burrows.

His father played 1000 nhl games

He was in on 13 strait goals this year and almost a point a game in the swedish league (one league lower then the elite league)

Hes from the same hometown as edler

He is reported to have a great character.

Almost a point a game at the wjc (5 goals one assist)

He s only 19

Bad side.....hes small. 511 175

Good trade at this point.

Listed as a center but I believe he has been playing mostly wing for his club team but don't quote me on that.

So we got a second round prospect in a better year for Burrows... this is a huge win for us!

When will he transition to North America?

He plays on a line with Elias Petterson, who plays center.  Petterson more of the playmaker and Dahlen more of the shooter

Burrows for basically a high 2016 2nd... what a coup by Benning!

Dahlen's been a point per game player at pretty much every level he's played at, with a 0.71 PPG average in the 2nd Swedish men's league over 100 games played (39-32-71), all before he turns 20 this December. AHL eligible as early as next season. Looks like a solid scoring prospect!

Can't believe this is our return on Burrows! I really wanted to draft this guy and now we have him! This guy has some seriously slick mitts.

Great WJC tourney this year as well.

Already one of my favorite prospects, great work GMJB.

Center eh. Hoping for a winger for horvat but i guess another center works.

Ya cause Centre's have no idea how to play the wing.

If that's what Burrows can fetch, I'm feeling pretty good about Hansen's return if JB is able to deal him.

Remember watching Jonathan Dahlen at the WJC after they mentoned he was Ulf's son, He was impressive!
