Love this pic of burrows,  in fact it should be a statue of him once he's inducted into the ROH.  Everyone in the roh should have a statue somewhere outside the arena.

Just more irrational WD hate. Tell me how he's screwed up Bo, Stecher, Granny (rescued his career), Baer (see Granny comment), Tryamkin, Hutton, Sbisa.  Seems like he has them all playing BETTER than expected.

 

You'll counter but, but, McCann and Vertanen! And I'll reply, McCann was too small, never wanted to be a Canuck, and the jury is still out on him. Vertanen was a very immature kid who was give EVERY chance to succeed but looked a gift horse in the mouth. Jury is out on him too, but the savior Travis Green hasn't turned him into an AHL all star. I'd say WD's successes far outweigh his failures with our young players. 

 

Bo - slow footed at draft, projected 2C at best, now is our next franchise player.

Stretcher- undersized free agent, encouraged to use his creativity to good effect. 

Granny - when we acquired him CDC howled, we got the wrong Granlund, maybe 4C at best turned into a scoring threat on the shutdown line.

Baer - benched in Calgary for lack of compete now a second line scoring threat.

Tryamkin - unknown quantity, came to camp out of shape, WD has helped mold him into a stud.

Hutton - WD has stuck by him during a very trying Sophomore year, and he's been turning it around.

Sbisa - from turnover machine to our best DMan on many nights. 

 

Oh, and it's obvious Stecher likes WD and will likely talk Boeser into signing here in the off-season. You see unlike the know nothing hacks at CDC, players know a good coach and they are playing their guts out for WD.

Danny Sedin was on the radio earlier and said that Hansen was playing on a line with the twins tonight. he said they joked with Hansen that it might not be a good omen considering Burr played with them last game and then got traded
