So is Gaunce playing with Bo & Baer with Goldy out ?  That's what I heard earlier on 1040.

Abbott was asked earlier today and said unlikely because WD likes Gaunce with Sutter.  He explained that WD likes to build his lines around two players and he feels Gaunce-Sutter is a duo.

It's apparently Boucher with Baer-Horvat.

Canucks win tonight, plus a LA loss, and the canucks will be 2 poitnts back of LA, and will be 5 back of STL.

A Calgary loss will allow Vancouver to close the gap to 8 points with a win.

Geeeezz that sounds promising

Do we really want to win? I can see some wins getting strung together @ the worst possible time.

Well... the better the draft pick, the better for the future.  On the other hand, it sure is nice to see a lot of new faces in the lineup, and actually playing -- which seems to be part of the reason we are winning a few games now. Young guys doing their thing can be unpredictable... in this case it seems to be producing some winning play.  I don't know if Virtanen is coming back up... or if Dahlen can get here sometime... but it would be fun to see a full display of the younger talent.  Give Sutter and the Sedins some nights off... and we'd see more of the young players (and maybe a soft tank for a better pick... or maybe not a soft tank lol.)

Whoa, Guddy back practicing?  Thought he like Dorsett were done for the year.  Would be great to have him back for a number of games as a springboard to next year, and seeing how are D looks with both of them in the lineup.

He has a hand injury so he is still able to skate and keep game ready in that respect, heard he is still a ways away from playing

Or mumps?  Bet he has the mumps, and caught it on his dinner out with Tryamkin.

No they've been talking about that on the radio and are emphatic about him just having the flu and NOT the mumps from Tram

If only the Canucks could find someone who's been linemates with Goldy before...hmm...
