Can we call this one a must loose? Ug I hate tanking.

Canucks have a tough schedule the rest of the way, along with this game and one in Arizona remaining.  They could go oh-fer on the upcoming road trip and ultimately lose nearly all the remainder of their games.

Never tank, ever.  But we're looking at two games that can be played strategically to some extent.  The Stars should come in fired up after being embarrassed by the Oil, and with Arizona only 5 back a loss in both gives us a good shot at #2, which is significantly better than #3 or lower due to Vegas being in the mix.  Coyotes play the Stars again which means at least two points given, but problems are the Wings and Devils who seem to have gone full Panzer.  A win tonight and we probably can't fall lower than 28th.

As with the rest of the season so far (and next), going to enjoy watching the yutes, and from now on hopefully with more ice-time and less Sedinagery.

WD on Boucher: There's parts of his game I really like. He'll never get a better opportunity to be a regular NHLer.

fair an honest comment by Willie.

Hmmm  wonder which parts of his game does Willie like?

the backchecking hustle back?

when he does hustle back .

The good thing though is Willie says he will never have a better chance to be a regular.

Exciting to think that the Canucks could have Goldobin and Boeser in the lineup next week.

Going to this one tonight. Interested in seeing Boucher with Horvat, hopefully Granlund gets his 20th.

DAL 4

VAN 5

Me too! Section 121! I'll be the only loud one in the bowl. :D

It will be interesting to see what Willie does on the PP. Everyone knows he's free to experiment. Lets see if he can.

Use totally different criteria

PP 1 ... everyone over 6'3"

Sutter, Shore, Labate, Edler, Tryamkin

PP 2 ... everyone under 6'0"

Baertschi, Boucher, Granlund  (subbing for Goldy or Rodin), Stecher, Biega

Heck, it can't be any worse

Remember when Shorty referred to Millsy as a wall in the net...something about Trump and Millsy being the American wall on the border...aw shucks, nevermind.

I actually do recall laughing about that I don't remember exactly when it was though lol
