The man they call Radim would rather be playing golf and enjoying the desert quality of life with his family than playing tough games every two nights somewhere for zero pay. Not a bottom line of plugs, grinders, or thugs, but FOUR lines of fast-skating players all capable of scoring. As a follow-up -- did anyone NOT notice the difference in the Canucks' play over the two weekend games? With Goldobin, Boeser, and Boucher in the lineup the team was looking dangerous offensively throughout the game. Guys like Sutter and Shore were even making plays and creating scoring opportunities. It doesn't take much; the addition of even a couple of play-driving offensive players can change the make-up and playing style of the entire team. Think back to the glory days of the Oilers. They had bottom-6 plumbers like Roulston and Lumley doing one-touch passes. Pretty much everyone playing in the NHL put up numbers before getting there and have offensive aptitude, it just takes the right atmosphere to bring it back out again. AV did that when the Canucks flipped the switch from a defensive team into the highest-scoring team in the league and the current rebuild is headed in that exact same direction.
