[PGT] Canucks @ Blues

Good effort tonight. Tough not being able to get anything out of it. Well we can look forward to the draft and hopefully the lottery balls go our way. This season has been more entertaining than last where I didn't watch many because of the losing. Tram was a stud tonight. He was in the Blues' faces tonight and got on their nerves. Almost pulled off a Crosby also which would've made up for this season had he potted that one. Sedins were alright. Stecher and Edler work their magic along the blueline and Hank was there to bury the loose puck. Bo line had lots of chances and unfortunate they weren't able to convert on one of them. Hutty had a good game of his own alongside Tram. Had smooth control of the puck and didn't cough it up as much. Unlike Tanev who coughed it up trying to get pass off for Goldy who was on his way to the bench but unfortunately Blues picked it off and scored. kids looked great but it's another learning curve to go. We are due some lottery luck and it's time to play with the lottery simulator again lol. Hope we finish the season on a high note! GCG!

Tanev looks tired, hes been worked in his corner for most of the season (for however long hes been healthy).  With the ice tilted towards him most nights hes had to block shots and take a beating in the corners. Poor puck possession team = more beatings, more blocked shots = more injuries.

yes some encouraging signs - they kept playing hard and were right in it again. Try is making huge strides (no pun intended) in all facets, sticking up for teammates, offensively jumping into the play, and man can he skate, not just for a big man.

We have a potential Chara Buffiglien hybrid here folks - this guy if they develop him right is going to be a terror for this team for a decade. If you can't watch a game and enjoy seeing this emerge, you are not a fan (and that ignores Bo, Stech, Baer, a few flashes of speed from Goldy, Labate willing to go at the toughest guy in the league etc)

Just wait till this TEAM adds a matured, Juolevi, Boeser, Viranten, Demko, Brisboise, Gaudette, and a few others. There's a GREAT future coming for this team in 2-3 years people. (and that excludes a potential top 5 pick this year!)

Please send Goldobin down.........he's not going to gain anything floating around for 9 more games.  Get him to Utica where the games are high intensity and he can be an impact player.  Start fresh in Van in September.

Totally agree

I'd figure out a way.  Call up Pedan and play him on fwd.  The Comets could use his skill and he would benefit from meaningful games.

LE and Megna will be pack next week.  Once they get a few more back I agree he should go down. Utica just got Mckenzie but will Green use him.

Dallas has picked up at least one point, putting more distance between them and the Canucks.

Speaking of distance, and I only really noticed this today, Colorado is 24 points behind the Canucks.  TWENTY FOUR!  WTF?  We have been icing an AHL bottom 6, a bunch of young guys on the blue line, and our first line is prepping for their senior citizen discount at Denny's  and those Jokers in Colorado, with all of those high end forwards, are 24 points behind....I bet you the London Knights would beat those guys.
