Ossi Vaananen
I was using the TSN site for information, but they were slow as hell. Thanks for the link. I don't believe rosters are finalized yet as some teams have guys in the 2nd round of CHL playoffs.
CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Huge fan of Scott Reedy touted to go between the 2nd and 3rd round of the draft. Thick body and dominated the u17's last year for team USA and going to a good program at the University of Minnesota. Energy type forward but has slick hands too, but most importantly likes to play in front of the net. The team really lacks a net front presence, Reedy plays that exact role. I'd keep an eye on him once you hit the mid rounds of the draft.
Ossi Vaananen
USA v. Russia 9:30 am on TSN2, Saturday. That will be a good one.
the harry
Hei Ossi! FIN - SUI tomorrow should be a close one for once. edit: no. http://u18worlds2017.iihf.com/en/news/fin-sui/
Ossi Vaananen
Fantastic game between Rus/USA. I was impressed by Poehling, Lipanov, and Mismash. Despite the 5 goals, Zhukov didn't look that bad in net. Didn't pay too much attention to D in this one. I could see Poelhling go in the top 15, Button has him at 9. CAN/SVK in an hour. Vinny in Vancouver
I missed the Finland-Switzerland match. For those that have seen him play, how's Nico doing so far in this tournament? Here are his stats so far: GP G A PTS PIM +/- GWG PPG SHG SOG %SG 2 0 2 2 0 0 0 0 0 13 0.
Ossi Vaananen
Fantastic game between SVK/CAN. Matheos with 2 G (including OT winner) and 3 in the tournament. SVK is hosting, and man they made noise.
Ossi Vaananen
Getting dirtied by Sweden, I can't see Canada coming back in this one. I like Entwhistle (sp?) and Matheos for Canada.

Before the tournament most rankings had him in the mid to late 20's, but after the U18's I wouldn't be surprised to see him go around 15th. He's got pretty good size at 6'2" or 6'3" (depending on the source) and ~210lbs. He also played in the SHL for most of this season and although he didn't exactly light the league on fire, he still did pretty well points wise considering it's not that common for draft eligible players to spend the majority of their draft year in the SHL (usually spend most of their time in the U20 league or loaned to an Allsvenskan team). I think he was ranked pretty high before his terrible showing at the world jrs too. Could have been just in a slump.
