Ossi Vaananen
Crazy! Could work out, he turned a bunch of players from different countries into a competitive team. *note to mods, I put this in Canucks talk, as it's rumors pertaining to a Coach, and not necessarily player movement. Feel free to move thread if needed.*
Kaner
I'm just happy that they are identifying other options, other than making a rash decision and just immediately hiring Green. If we can't grab Krueger, I say we hold out and see if there are any good coaches fired in the next couple weeks.
HC20.0
Interesting. Krueger did well in his brief stint with Edmonton, even though they missed the playoffs.
MJDDawg
It would be so Canuck-like wouldn't it to hire a guy who was an NHL head coach for one season AND hasn't even been in this league for three years. This is happening.

I thought he was let go way too quickly in Edmonton and wouldn't mind a look at him here.
Brad Marchand
Always wondered why the Oilers fired him so quickly. Not sure he would have any desire to leave Southampton, though. He's the club chairman.
D.B Cooper
I never even thought of him. Pretty decent option. He did a good enough job with Team Europe, and has a ton of international experience, but not a whole lot of real success. He sucked with the Oilers tho. IMO, I say nope. I remember a lot of people were shocked at his firing. He had an AHL Defense and no Top 6 center to work with that year, and still had them near a playoff spot. Sam Gagner was also their #1 Center, and Justin Schultz was their only semi okay defenseman that year. Dubnyk and Hall held that team together, and that wasn't Krueger's fault. He worked well with what he had.
AV.
Bring him over so he can turn Sbisa into Virgil van Dijk.
Ossi Vaananen
Why would he coach Team Europe if he wasn't interested in an NHL return? I'm not sure how much of his Wikipedia page is fiction, but it shows he's part of the World Economic Forum? Must be a pretty smart guy.
King Heffy
A lot of coaches do better on their second try in the league. Wouldn't mind giving him a shot.

b3.
He has a pretty big cushy position in the EPL apparently, not sure why he would quit that to hop in our frying pan.

What a bunch of sucks. anyway, I'm not sold on him at all. Good team or not, he wasn't great in his very short NHL stint, and his international record isn't overly impressive either. Its great the team team is doing it due dilligents, but I hope they keep looking.

DownUndaCanuck
Wait until the playoffs finish, one of these coaches is going to get so fired. Looking at you Bruce. He may not be a playoff coach but if he can bring the Canucks back out of the bottom of the ladder then he'll have done his job. I think a playoff team will fire their coach and hire Sutter, leaving us with a juicy option. Wait until the Draft.
AV.
Really, he was only fired because MacT became GM and rode the Dallas Eakins hype train. Yeah, it was a 48 game season that year but they still did a lot better than they would go on to do in the coming seasons.
