dpn1
I think Kevin could make a great mentor for all the young dmen we have. If Tanev gets traded he could be a good guy in the room and add some toughness.
Zhukini
Two years ago he was a better quote machine than serviceable defenceman. Especially now I would have to pass. I would love to have him back in a coaching capacity or just see him do media after he retires though.
VIC_CITY
If we lost Sbisa to LV and then traded Tanev or Edler, I wouldn't be opposed to Bieksa on a 1 year deal as a #6/7. I don't see it happening though. Also, I believe he has 1 year remaining on his contract. It has been speculated that Anaheim may buy him out so they don't have to protect him in the ED (he has a NMC). So he could very well end up a free agent after this year. 48MPHSlapShot
If Aneheim were to buy him out, I wouldn't be opposed to signing him to a cheap, one year deal to fill in the gap that Tryamkin left and provide some leadership to our young D core. I wouldn't give up any tangible assets for him though.
missioncanucksfan
Bieksa could be the PERFECT FA signing to provide mentorship. 2yrs @ $4M would probably entice him. Pair him with guys like McEneny, Hutton, Brisbois, Juolevi. I think Bieksa will have better offers from better contending hopes but ya, I'm all for Bieksa coming back Atleast this time around he isn't expected to be or looked at as a "core" player anymore Would we give him a NTC? CanuckGAME
I love Bieksa. But no thanks. This team is better off without him moving forward.
BananaMash
We struggle enough with speed. Hard pass. I'll always love Bieksa for his time here, but some players need to stay in the team's past.

danaimo
what we need =younger, faster and can provide offence. what bieksa brings = older, slower has never been much of a PPQB and has never had much of s shot. I liked Bieksa 5 years ago. This team needs to move on and resist the temptation to phone ex girlfriends, the love affair is never as good second time around. Apple Juice
If Bieksa is bought out as what Anaheim seems to be thinking of doing, he'll most likely retire. I can't see him willing to play one more year unless he really wants a shot at the Cup and goes to sign a cheap 1 year deal with a contender

BCNeil
I don't know why Bieksa would do this. I imagine at this stage of his career it's either.....play for a contender or retire. I don't see him signing with a non-playoff team.

He even got 80 points in 73 games as a 40 YEAR OLD That is a 90 point pace. Which is insane.
Alflives
Bring him back as the new color guy on the hockey broadcasts, and make him a regular on the new Canuck's (650 am) station. He'd be great at that role!
Spoosh
We should bring him back, just not on the roster. A voice on the broadcast team would be awesome. But at this time and where he is at, it would be a no from me.
